Karura offers a lower priced case cover designed primarily to shield the surface of the case from scratches and provide coverage and protection of case hardware. A significant feature of this cover is that it is lightweight. It comes complete with straps, and a storage pocket.

Fiedler Back Pack System
The FIEDLER backpack system is the world’s most ergonomic and comfortable backpack system for instrument cases. It fits nearly all cases for stringed instruments and brass instruments and can be adjusted perfectly to the musician’s body size. The well padded straps bring relief to neck and shoulders. A detachable, wedge shaped back cushion is part of the backpack system. During play it serves as an ergonomic chair cushion. The detachable music pocket holds even large sheet music. Instead of the standard cushion the FIEDLER backpack system can be equipped with a hip belt. It takes even more weight off the shoulders. Another option is the FIEDLER “deluxe” cushion. It is even more comfortable than the original cushion thanks to a felt seat, a new shape and the adjustable height and wedge slope.
This system requires that your case be modified to install interface hardware. You may order your new Karura case with the hardware already installed. You can order this system and install it your self on your new or existing case.
